Unity Certifications
Certified User: Programmer
I continued my C# and game dev journey by taking Unity's official certification course and starting with Certified User Programmer. I started the course on, 8/30/2023, and completed it on, 12/15/2023.

I chose the Certified User: Programmer because it's a class designed for people like me who are in High school and are pursuing game development. It gives students an entry-level certification for foundational skills within Unity and to create interactive, real-time 3D experiences. As someone who's learning to become a game developer, it's a great step in the right direction.
Certified Associate: Game Developer
I continued my C# and game dev journey by taking Unity's official certification course, Certified Associate Game Developer. I started this course in early October 2024 and earned my certification on 1/4/2025.

I chose the Certified Associate: Game Developer because it's designed for people looking to expand their knowledge of game development. I learned much more about the Unity engine and the other features that it can provide.
Foundational C# with Microsoft
On December 20, 2023, I started taking the free C# course from Microsoft and FreeCodeCamp to deepen my understanding of C#. I took this course to gain more knowledge before continuing my Unity Certifications and developing other programs.
During the summer of 2024, I took a break from my certifications and resumed in September to complete them. On September 24, 2024, I took the certification exam and passed, earning my Foundational C# with Microsoft certification.

TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro Certification
Over the course of Summer 2024, I was taking a Summer Class at KVCC, also known as Kalamazoo Valley Community College. That summer class was Intro Computer Systems. This class's curriculum offered training for the TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro Certification. At the end of the course, I was allowed to take a performance-based certification exam for my final grade. I took this certification to further my knowledge of IT.
